Sound Fragment

Concept

Sound Fragmentは、旅先で出会った音を、“欠片（fragment）”として集めているプロジェクトである。旅先で「音を録音しよう」という気持ちで時間を過ごしていると、なんでもない場所が、突然自分にとって思い出の場所になることがある。そうしてフィールドレコーディングで採集した音に、短い言葉を添えて、欠片として留めている。

Sound Fragment is a project in which I gather the sounds I encounter while traveling as small “fragments.”

When I’m on a journey with the intention of recording sound, even the most ordinary places can suddenly become meaningful memories.

To the sounds I collect through field recording, I add a few quiet words, and keep them as fragments.
